When we first started EARA, not only do we want to make modern clip-on earrings accessible, but we also want to make comfort a priority. Many who wear clip-ons have had bad experiences, ranging from mild discomfort to severe pain. The reason for that is almost always the same: incorrect tension. Fortunately, it doesn't have to be this way, and here are the steps we take to ensure the comfort of our earrings.
Curate Collection with Adjustable Grip
When curating our collection of clip-on earrings, we pay extra attention to those with an adjustable grip. The adjustable grip lets you tighten/relax the pincher according to your comfort level and earlobe thickness. Our screw-back and invisible clip-ons let you do precisely that, and it is very easy to do on your own.
Individual Adjustment
The regular mini-clip and paddle back clip-on earrings are the most typical kind of clip-ons, and are likely the type most people had a bad experience with. For these earrings, we adjust the tension in each earring individually before shipping them out. We pay a lot of attention to finding the right balance between grip and comfort, and we are confident in what we do.
Complimentary Earring Pads
Individual adjustments aside, we also provide complimentary earring pads with the purchase of mini-clip and paddle back clip-on earrings, just in case you need them for additional comfort.
